The IARC Quadcopter Project is a student-run robotics team hosted by IEEE at UCSD aimed at constructing a quadcopter designed to compete at the 2015 International Aerial Robotics Competition. The objective of the competition is to build an autonomous multirotor vehicle able to herd ground robots while avoiding obstacles in an indoor arena. To meet this goal, our team has combined project management practices commonly found in industrial settings with a large team whose knowledge spans the computer, electrical, and mechanical engineering disciplines.
